Your work is fabulous. I love the portraits, each one has an expression of it’s own. Deep within just like the person that they are.
Are these for sale? Your mice are truly you…I will never forget that.
You taught me to appreciate the lowest of life, a rat. Plus you also taught me so much more lovely lady.
We at the Planetary Society, who sent water bears to space in our LIFE experiment on Endeavour, love your drawing of a water bear in a spacesuit! We’d love to use it on our website — maybe in our blog or in conjunction with our pages on the LIFE experiment. Could you please get in touch with me and let us know if we can showcase your drawing to our audience? Thanks.
I was sent to your gallery site by Simran and I like your works!! Your venting gallery really had me cracking up.
Following your feed and looking forward to seeing more!
We are Chiara and Debora, two Italian women, both graduated in Biology and working in different fields related to science (Chiara doing a PhD in molecular oncology and Debora working as an editor for the web about science topics), but with a strong passion for science communication.
This year we have realized an interactive laboratory about Darwin’s journey and the origin of evolutionary theory for children aged 8-13.
We have prepared 5 “stations” realized with panels and images picturing the key events in Darwin voyage around the world with specific practical activities to help children to get basic notions about evolution.
The laboratory has been included in the program of the 2011 Genova Science Festival, one of the most important events of science communication to the public in Europe and which will take place in Genova from 22nd October to 2nd November 2011.
It is a really important event, attended by thousands of people every year.
We are now collecting all the images, and we have jumped into your fantastic drawing of Darwin riding a giant tortoise holding a finch at this website:
We were wandering whether you could give us the permission to use this image printed on one of the panel we will be using as scenery, of course with your name and credits written below the image.
Thousands of people will be able to appreciate your image.
Since the Festival is an educational, non commercial event and we have not been paid for realizing the laboratory, we are asking you to give the authorization for free, since we are not able to pay for it.
In case you agree, please send us the written authorization and an image of high resolution (the optimal will be 300 dpi or higher),
